Where do you find the best deals? I’m looking to go from Phoenix to New York around Thanksgiving time.
try www.cheaptickets.com
they scan all available flights via carriers and list them in order from cheapest to most expensive. Not sure if they are in your city, but also try airtran.com and spiritair.com
Usually when you fly out a smaller airport (which is the case with these) you pay less. Got to wikipedia and type in low fair carriers and they will list all of them and you can go to each individual website and see if they service your area. Also with the cheaptickets, double check and see if they are advertising the same price on their site, it may be cheaper to buy direct.
